B. Please do NOT be late to class or you will make everyone lose time!
C. Topics:  Comparisons and All reg and irreg verbs in present tense (NO reflexives or Gustar-type verbs)
D. This will go in the SUMMATIVE category (i.e. 65%!)
E. Period 5, don't forget that we have C lunch

Set-up of the assessment (55 pts. total)
A.  LISTENING:  Write the verb you hear me say IN ENGLISH.  (10 pts) --enable audio on Quizlet to practice for this
B.  Escoge el verbo que pertenece y conjúgalo en el PRESENTE.  (10 pts.) --See the front of paper #10:   ¡Tú siempre ________ (romper/trepar/etc.)!
C.  Pick the most logical verb from the verb bank and conjugate in the PRESENT TENSE. (10 pts.)
-10 multiple choice sentences with a word bank of 12 verbs to choose from
-You have to know your verbs really well, or this section is challenging!
D.  Pick FIVE of the 7 verbs below and write a sentence demonstrating knowledge of the verb meaning.
-Just like the practice sheets, but now you can choose the verbs
-Write good, big-kid sentences, and make sure you clearly demonstrate knowledge of meaning
-Ex.  Don't write "Yo corro en el parque con amigos." bc you could put lots of verbs there...it should be something like "Yo corro en el parque con amigos porque es importante para mi cuerpo," etc.
E.  Escribe estas frases usando COMPARACIONES es español. (20 pts.)
-Ex.  We are older than you.
-Helpful hint:  circle the comparison part of your final sentence.
-Within the circle, you should have included the comparison word(s) and que or como, as necessary.   Ex.  Nosotros somos mayores que tú.
-Before the circle you should have a subject and verb    Ex.  Nosotros somos mayores que tú.
-For tanto/a/os/as, you look after the comparison word and do adjective agreement (and  use the verb TENER)
-For all other comparison words, you look at the subject and verb to agree with (and use the verb SER)
-The words "tan, tanto/a/os/as all  use  "...como" ( all the rest use "...que")
